This course is for students from any discipline who are interested in learning basic GIS. It covers the fundamentals of cartography, vector data analysis, table queries, spatial problem solving, and online mapping. Students will use ArcGIS to classify data, query tables and maps, analyze spatial relationships, build spatial databases, edit data, and create map layouts for print or web. This course uses an online course format with all software and data sets provided.
