Topics include selfhood, socialization, conformity/deviance, attitudes, gender roles, and intergroup/intragroup dynamics. Through exposure to real life settings and simulations, students will explore key questions such as "What attracts us to each other?, "How do we respond to deviant behavior?" and, "Why do we conform?". This course meets a requirement in the Justice and Peace Studies program. Prerequisite: SOCI 100 or SOCI 110
