This course integrates principles of learning with evidence-based strategies for effective instruction. Prospective K-12 teachers explore the scientific knowledge base that underlies good teaching and build a repertoire of practices to support individual learner success within positive classroom environments. Participants analyze and personalize standards-based instruction, differentiation strategies, performance-enhancing assessment, and technology-assisted teaching and learning.
