This fully online course focuses on the development of theater in the United States from its 17th century roots to the present, with special attention to contemporary American drama and an emphasis on the connections between theater and culture. This course fulfills both the Fine Arts requirement and the Human Diversity requirement in the core curriculum and satisfies a WAC Writing to Learn requirement. Prerequisite: None.
