This course examines the components of a healthy lifestyle across the lifespan. It will provide students with the science-based knowledge and practical skills needed to support their own health, fitness and well-being. Students will explore personal health behaviors by studying the physical, social, intellectual, emotional, and spiritual dimensions of well-being through course readings, discussions and experiential learning activities in areas such as health-related fitness, nutrition and stress.
