This course provides advanced learning and practice in settings conducive to clinical social work practice under the instruction of an agency-based social work supervisor and campus-based faculty member. Students complete a minimum of 600 hours during the practicum. On campus seminars ( II and IV) taken concurrently with the practicum provide guidance for learning continued application of theory and prior experience, and further refinement of social work skills. The clinical field practicum is taken concurrently with GRSW 603: Methods of Clinical Social Work I and GRSW 604: Methods of Clinical Social Work II.
