The first year of elementary Arabic is designed for non-native beginners in the Arabic language to primarily learn the formal form of Arabic also known as Modern Standard Arabic. During the year, students will learn how to express basic communication idioms and needs in Arabic. Intermediate Arabic I is a continuation of Elementary Arabic II. It is designed to further develop language proficiency in Modern Standard Arabic in the four language skills.
