Using the first book in Isabel McNeill Carley's series, participants will explore the 11 lessons within, gaining an understanding of how to teach the recorder from an Orff-Schulwerk perspective, while at the same time building a repertoire of pedagogy lessons for use in the general music classroom. Participants will improve their own playing and improvisation skills, gaining confidence and knowledge to recorder teaching in their own classroom setting.
