This course will examine the federal and state laws regard- ing unfair and deceptive practices, consumer credit trans- actions, debt collection and warranties. Students will examine federal statutes, such as the Consumer Credit Protection Act and the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act, as well as state statutes and common law.
