This course will focus on the theory and practice of estate planning, including the role of planning to avoid or defer gift, estate, and generation-skipping transfer taxes, and will study the ways in which planning impacts the administration of estates and trusts after death. Wills, Estates and Trusts is a prerequisite for this course.
