Students will study basic to advanced techniques of the instrument including breathing technique, tonguing, cross-harp, chromatic, straight position, vibrato, and microphone placement. Additional topics will include: stylistic propriety of blues, rock, spiritual and folk, and improvisation. Students must complete an online Lesson Registration Form with the music department in addition to registering through Murphy.
